Matt is a freelance camera and drone operator with nearly two decades of experience in the film and television industry. His work spans high-end documentary, specialist factual, history, entertainment and promotional productions, including premium, talent-led programming and critically acclaimed series.

With a background as a camera assistant, Matt brings an in-depth understanding of camera systems and on-set workflows to his work as an operator. Equally comfortable on cinema camera setups, drones, gimbals, minicams and time-lapse, he combines technical expertise with a creative eye and the ability to adapt to the demands of fast-moving productions. He holds drone qualifications covering the UK, Europe and Canada.

 

Having filmed across all seven continents, Matt has worked in environments ranging from remote and challenging locations to studios and busy production settings around the world. This breadth of experience informs his versatile approach to visual storytelling, whatever the subject or setting.
