Matthew Hodgen

 
Matt's work has taken him around the globe; across all 7 continents, as well as filming in some of the world’s most dangerous environments. With over a decade of experience in the camera department, he is a very versatile crew member with both technical and creative know-how.

He is experienced in the operation a large range of camera, grip and lighting equipment. Matt holds drone qualifications to operate in the UK, Europe and Canada. He is also able to manage data transfer workflows with a range of capture formats; easing the transition between acquisition and post-production.

Especially interested in adventure/expedition filmmaking, he has experience working in jungles, through deserts, over glaciers, at sea, and high altitudes. These jobs have given Matt valuable expertise in running a camera department in the most testing environments.
